Dave posted this on the facebook group, but they are good things to think about when anyone is writing a letter. Read over this stuff and try to answer some of these questions in your letter.
Hey everyone,
While your at the campout this week, think about these types of questions to help back your case:
1. What will you say to the administration when they ask what other options they have to parking?
2. What benifits does the campground have to the university?
3. Other ways to get around student parking. ie. Freshmen can’t have parking passes if they live x miles away or people who live in keister or south rock can’t have parking passes.
4. Where can other places be paved to make more parking if they are set fast that they want more parking?Just a couple suggestions for everyone to start thinking about.
P.S. There is a second sample letter up on this site. It follows a slightly different form compared to the other one, but it should be just as effective. Please read both and let us know what you think. Please feel free to write your own letter as well.
