Well, Leave it Green is on board a new project to encourage RECYCLING IN SLIPPERY ROCK! We will be focusing on the apartments surrounding campus, and trying to remind people that small choices and actions can end up making a huge difference for our environment. Stay posted for meeting announcements.

Steve-O, head of outdoor adventures has invited Leave It Green to participate in the homecoming parade, so we need people to come ride bikes! Let me know at rachel {at} leaveitgreen(.)org if you are interested. This is a great opportunity to get our name out there.

We are thinking about the possibility of getting new shirts with our new slogan, “Nature Recycles Everything” on the back. We would like these to be on either organic cotton or hemp, which is more susainable, or on recycled fabric. These would be slightly more expensive, but cheaper for our earth. Let me know what you think!
