Today I met with the Council of Trustees, and while the outcome of the meeting wasn’t exactly what we had hoped for, I am confident that we can come to a resolution that satisfies both the Council as well as Leave It Green. The Council has expressed, and voted unanimously for, their support of the Green Fund, and the fund will be implemented for the fall 08 semester. However, we will spend the summer looking into alternative sources of funding. The Council understands our stance and I know that we will be able to reach a compromise. Dan and I will continue to work within the mission and morals of Leave It Green, and you can trust us that we will do what is best for everyone. I want to personally thank President Smith for his ongoing support of the Green Fund. He has been an active defender of our cause, and has played a HUGE roll in our success so far.
